Late Birthday cake for my dayboo but its finally done! and it’s actually a cookie cake! delicious chocolate chip cookie! and pram is made of rice krispies. I bought a box of em ( though you cake melt up them marshmallows yourself and do it) and I made a base shape for her on a dowel (or in this case a stir stick) and then I did all the deco in fondant. Wish I had my steamer since she is icing sugary but I have it left at my work :/ Book is also quite lumpy because I didn’t want an excess of icing on the cookie so I only put a thin layer around the sides to stick the fondant but not make any choco chips and lumps nice and even….. but gotta say its cute AAAAND ultra delicious which isn’t always the case. And I guess that’s the end of my mass posting streak for now haha!

Less talk, more awesome LEGO monkey warriors!
Behold Tyler Halliwell's fantastic LEGO depiction of Sun Wukong, the Monkey King, a main character from the 16th century Chinese mythological novel Journey to the West. He possess amazing strength, speed and the ability to transform himself into a wide variety of animals and objects.
Halliwell’s LEGO sculpture features the Monkey King seated in the lotus position while wielding his trademark staff.
This is quite a large build, at 40”x15”x21” overall. I took influence from multiple Asian cultures in the design, especially with the Japanese samurai armor but with added Chinese and Korean influence.
Building the piece took about 100 hours over the course of two months and used roughly 1500 LEGO bricks.
